Practice Management Consultant

Originally a Central Saint Martin’s Art & Design graduate, Louise has been working in Dental Practice management since 1990.

Design is principally about problem solving and particular attention to processes and detail; Louise has applied these processes to the development of three sequential practices. Initially, an NHS practice that outgrew its premises, secondly, a large NHS/Private mixed practice and, thirdly, a state of the art, architect designed, squat Private Practice developed on a business park on the outskirts of a County Town.

In managing these very different practices, over more than 30 years, Louise has gained great insight and experience, developing and refining the business skills, management practices and systems necessary to operate successfully, and profitably, in a climate of regulation and compliance, but still with the overriding awareness of the need to deliver an excellent customer service experience in today’s competitive market.

During this time Louise was consistently a client of some of the best known Dental Business Coaches in the UK, benefiting from coaching covering business, finance, ethical sales, marketing, planning and time management.

As a CQC Registered Manager, Louise has managed Compliance adminstration at practice level and managed two CQC announced inspections.

Louise has also managed the due diligence and preparation involved in the sale to a dental Corporate and was then a Practice Manager for this Corporate for two years post sale.

Since leaving day to day practice management, Louise now runs The Dental Circus, an on-line training platform, community and resource for Dentists and Practice Managers, specifically designed to coach skills to enable and support growth and development in Dental Practice management.
